There are other kinds of computer network security software that can, and should be used, depending on what your antivirus covers. Anti spyware is a good one to have. Many of these kinds of software, including anti-viruses can be had for free, but the best ones you will have to pay for.

Cleaning software will help to take care of anything that might be leftover after any viruses or other malware has been taken care of. This will leave your computer clean and free of any traces of the attack.
